Cherished is a female-led funeral service. I have lifetime roots in the area and strive to give you the upmost personal family care for your loved ones.

About Cherished
Cherished is a new business, set up in 2021. It is not an inherited business or corporate group, I chose to do this because I care passionately about this profession and want to serve our local families and surrounding areas, delivering the best in care with a fastidious approach to what I do.
I can give an abundance of time to families at such difficult times and offer a fresh approach to funerals whether you’re looking for a more relaxed informal style, sustainable or traditional send off, I will help you achieve it.
I have grown up knowing and having associations within in the funeral sector, coming gradually into this work I strive to make a difference improving families experiences. Being born and bred in Herefordshire, both my husband and I are from local farming backgrounds and we built our home on the family farm. This year we celebrate 22 years of marriage and have two wonderful children. I am devoted to making our funeral home that special place, a real ‘Home from Home’ feel, safe in the knowledge that your loved one is in the best care.
Setting up a funeral company has been talked about for many years, I feel now is the time is right to launch our company, as our family is more grown up. After experiencing the sudden death of a friend, it sparked a cord with us. I could see there were certain areas lacking choice when arranging the funeral. I have completed funeral training courses and have experience of working for a well established, independent funeral company. So, I followed my heart and lifetime ambition and Cherished was created.

We are transparent in our pricing – charging our fees, then everything else we provide to you at cost.
